FAQ

Good to know before you order.

Where do you ship?

Fresh bread and bagels ship across New England (NH, MA, ME, VT, CT and RI) by UPS Ground. Outside New England, bread has to ship overnight to stay fresh, which is often expensive. Our bread flour blend is shelf-stable and ships anywhere in the US.

When will my order ship?

We bake to order and ship on a rolling schedule, several times a week. Orders arrive within 1 business day once shipped, and your order email confirms when yours goes out. Every order ships carbon-neutral.

What is the best way to store it?

Our bread and bagels have no preservatives, so they’re best kept in the freezer. Slice and freeze anything you won’t finish the day it arrives, then toast straight from frozen.

Are your products certified gluten-free?

We aren’t third-party certified. Instead, our whole kitchen is dedicated gluten-free: we don't use any wheat or gluten-containing ingredients, we don't allow gluten-containing products in the shop, and we never use gluten-free wheat starch.

Which products are vegan? What allergens do they contain?

The White Boule and Brown Boule are vegan and contain no egg, dairy, nuts or sesame. Our bagels and Sandwich Bread contain egg, and the Sesame and Everything bagels contain sesame. See full ingredients.

Are your products nut-free?

Our breads and bagels are made without nuts. Our kitchen does handle egg, sesame, peanuts, tree nuts and other common allergens, so we can’t guarantee any product is free of them.

Why aren’t your loaves pre-sliced?

Slicing speeds up staling and can lead to damage in transit, so we ship loaves and bagels whole.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Reach out and we’ll make it right. See our shipping policy and refund policy.

Do you have a physical store?

Yes! We’re at 915 Elm St, Manchester, NH 03101. See hours and directions.

Salomé and Evan, founders of Dishon Bakery

Meet the bakers

Started by someone who needed this bakery to exist.

Evan was diagnosed with Celiac disease in his early 20s and spent years unable to find gluten-free bread that actually tasted like bread. He and his wife Salomé spent three years developing their own recipes before Dishon ever opened: first at farmers markets, then a commercial kitchen, now a storefront in Manchester.
