Watch: Baking Artisan Bread at Home
While we use a commercial steam-injected oven at the bakery, this video walks you through the home baking method — including how to preheat your Dutch oven, score your dough, and bake your loaf using the same steps outlined in your instructions.

This video uses sourdough and different baking times, but the shaping and baking method is nearly identical to the process you’ll follow with our instructions.
⚠️ Cool Completely Before You Slice!
Once your bread comes out of the oven, resist the temptation to cut into it right away. Gluten-free bread needs time to fully set — we recommend letting it cool on a wire rack for 4 to 6 hours. Cutting too soon will make the crumb gummy or underbaked.

Pro Tips & Bonus Notes
- Keep your banneton clean: Let it dry fully after use and brush out excess flour with a dry bristle brush.
- Preheat your Dutch oven for at least 30–45 minutes before baking (an hour is even better!) to ensure a hot, consistent environment for your bread.
